In this tutorial we will explain how you can de-register your AT&T, VTech or Panasonic handset phone from its original base.
AT&T or VTech de-register method:
Here are the methods to de-register your cordless phone handsets for AT&T and VTech phones if you no longer have your phone base or want to resell.
Method #1:
- Type *331734#
- Then click “Menu Select” and the phone should beep then shut off. If it does not unplug the battery and plug it back in. Now the screen will say “Not Registered”.
Method #2:
- Click the “Menu” button.
- Type *7890#
- Now select “Test Handset”.
- Now arrow down and select “Next Page…”.
- Now select “Regstr Clear”.
- Lastly, click “select” again to clear the register. It will beep and return an “OK” message followed by returning to the same prompt. Now unplug the battery and plug it back in. Now the screen will say “Not Registered”.
Panasonic de-register method:
Here are the methods to de-register your cordless phone handsets for Panasonic phones if you no longer have your phone bases.
Method #1:
- Click the “Menu” button.
- Click the “#” button.
- Then type “131”.
